Therapy for Healthcare Workers & High-Stress Professionals

Support for the people who hold everyone else together

You take care of everyone. Let’s make sure someone is taking care of you. We offer specialized therapy for nurses, physicians, first responders, therapists, and other professionals whose jobs demand constant composure under pressure. We're located in Nashville, TN, with virtual sessions available.

Therapy That Understands What Your Job Actually Asks of You

Most therapy is built for people whose stress ends when they clock out. Yours doesn't.

You're trained to stay calm when things go wrong, to compartmentalize so you can function, to keep showing up even on the days you have nothing left to give. That training keeps patients alive and systems running — but it can also mean you're the last person to notice when you're the one struggling.

At Nashville Integrative Therapy, we work with people in high-stakes, high-responsibility roles who need a space where they don't have to explain the acronyms, don't have to justify why a "normal" day left them wrecked, and don't have to pretend everything's fine because everyone else needs them to be fine.

You’re Here Because Something’s Not Sustainable Anymore

Maybe it's been building for years. Maybe one bad shift, one bad call, or one bad quarter finally cracked something open. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to have the language for it yet.

Care From Someone Who's Actually Been in the Room

I'm Dr. Megan Fowler, a Doctor of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before I opened my own practice, I spent years working as a hospital social worker in the NICU, PICU, Emergency Department, Transplant, Oncology, and HIV/AIDS units. I've also worked as a child life specialist, providing direct care and support to children facing acute and chronic illness — including kids who were vent-dependent or recovering from severe burns — and to the parents trying to hold it together beside them.

I've sat with families in the worst moments of their lives. I've done grief and bereavement work, responded to acute crises, and supported patients and families through death, abuse, and domestic violence. I know what it's like to walk out of a room where something devastating just happened and be expected to walk into the next one like nothing did.

I'm not asking you to explain what compartmentalizing feels like, or why you're not "supposed to" be affected by things that would flatten most people. I've lived the demands of this work from the inside, and I built this practice because the people doing the hardest jobs in healthcare — and in other high-stakes roles — deserve a therapist who already understands the weight they're carrying.
